This potential site for the proposed VfGB Hospital has been identified at Akhalia, adjacent to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet.
A VfGB delegation, led by President Professor Dr. Hasanat Husain and accompanied by executives Dr. Humayer Chowdhury, Barrister Nazrul Khasru, Mrs. Shahida Husain, Councillor Sabina Khan, and Mr. Noor Meah, conducted an on-site inspection of the proposed location.
Mr. Noor Meah has generously offered his prime roadside property of over three acres for consideration as the hospital site. The location’s strategic position and excellent accessibility make it a highly promising option for the future VfGB Hospital, which aims to serve the broader healthcare needs of the Sylhet region.
