The VFGB is sincerely grateful to you for giving us time despite your extremely busy schedule in reforming the state following the July-August mass uprising by our valiant students.
As you are aware, the VFGB is a global platform of overseas professional Bangladeshis who on the one hand are profoundly passionate about supporting your Interim Government reforms initiatives to help create a new Bangladesh, a Bangladesh, free of discrimination and oppression .
On the other hand, we want to bring to your kind notice some of the key aspirations and challenges of overseas Bangladeshis globally.
Today’s delegation of 30 is comprised of Bangladeshi top ranking experts in their respective fields from the 4 continents, including Asia, the Americas , Europe, and the Gulf.
I Dr. Hasanat Husain do apologise for not making it in this time due to a major surgery I under went recently, but I assure you my comrades from
the VFGB will be my voice today and that of 1.3 million overseas Bangladeshis that couldn’t be here .
